Terms of use

These terms set out the conditions for using Check East Point (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service provides free travel information, including live crowd levels for major Seoul places (Seoul real-time population data) and crowd forecasts for Jeju and Busan attractions (Korea Tourism Organization concentration forecast). It may change or be discontinued without notice.

2. Accuracy of information

Crowd levels and forecasts are estimates based on public data and may differ from conditions on site. Data may be delayed or missing because of the providing agencies. You remain responsible for final decisions about timing, safety and travel, based on conditions on site and official notices.

3. Data sources and copyright

Public data is used with attribution under each provider's terms (such as KOGL). Maps use OpenFreeMap and data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Rights in the other text, design, images and software belong to the operator; share cards and widgets may be freely shared in the form provided.

4. Prohibited use

You may not scrape the Service in a way that overloads it, alter widgets or share cards so they misrepresent the data, click ads fraudulently or encourage others to click them, or use the Service in breach of the law.

5. Advertising and external links

The Service may contain advertising and links to external sites (maps, video, booking sites and so on). External sites, their products and any transactions with them are governed by their own terms, and the Service is not responsible for them.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided free of charge and as is. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for errors, delays or interruptions, or for any loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on the information.

7. Changes and governing law

Any changes will be posted on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are settled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Effective date: 2026-10-23
